Terms and Conditions for the NovaCloud Web Services Public Demo
1. Eligibility & Registration
1.1 The NovaCloud Web Services Public Demo is provided by NovaCloud Africa (Pty) Ltd (“NovaCloud”).
1.2 Before using the Website and the Public Demo, you must ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your right to access is revoked if your use is prohibited by law.
1.3 The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By registering, you warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to use the Service.
1.4 Registration requires personal information, such as your name and email address. NovaCloud will use this information to communicate service updates and cloud-related information. You may opt out at any time. Your information will not be shared with 3rd parties except for legal investigations.
1.5 NovaCloud reserves the right to refuse service, deactivate accounts, or delete access at its sole discretion at any time.
2. Purpose of the Service
2.1 The Public Demo is for non-profit testing and evaluation purposes only.
2.2 Permitted Use: Testing and experimentation with cloud-based applications.
2.3 Prohibited Use: Any commercial hosting, production workloads, or prolonged data storage.
3. Prohibited Content and Activities
3.1 Content Restrictions: Users may not upload or host violent, hateful, pornographic, or illegal content. Malicious code, viruses, or data protection violations are strictly prohibited.
3.2 Usage Restrictions: You may not host internet games, create proxies, or resell server resources.
3.3 Unauthorized Communications: Sending unsolicited messages (SPAM) is prohibited and will result in permanent suspension.
3.4 NovaCloud Rights: NovaCloud reserves the right to audit accounts, log files, and data to ensure compliance, and may terminate access without notice.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 Users must comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
4.2 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
4.3 Any suspected breach or misuse must be reported to NovaCloud administrators immediately.
5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
5.1 The Service is provided “as-is” without any warranties of any kind.
5.2 NovaCloud is not responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from the use of the Service.
5.3 Users are solely responsible for all activities and content within their demo environment.
5.4 Users agree to indemnify and hold NovaCloud harmless from any claims or losses arising from their use of the Service.
6. Governing Law
6.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NovaCloud operates.
